The Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad will host its 5th annual 5k run on Sunday, October. 16th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Lyndhurst Recreation Center at the intersection of Valley Brook Avenue and Polito Avenue. During the race, water stations and emergency personnel will be set up throughout the course. The race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field New Jersey, and finishers will be eligible for USATF NJ Grand Prix points.

Hi everyone! If you have not done so already, Please make sure to register for our Monopoly Tournament (October 20) and our 5k Run and Walk (October 21)!
Both events will help LPES raise funds to buy crucial lifesaving equipment and to fund training for the organization’s volunteer members. LPES has done a lot to give back to the community in 2012 including Blood Drives, a Kickball event for the Special Angels, a food drive to support the Lyndhurst Food Pantry and most importantly, the organization’s volunteers have responded to over 1,000 emergency calls in 2012 alone. LPES now needs your help to continue to fund the organization’s mission.
