To Our Neighbors:

COVID-19 has turned our world upside down. We, your local EMS volunteers, view this crisis as yet another challenge to keeping our community safe.

As we did during numerous other catastrophes – Superstorm Sandy, 9/11, floods, ice storms, the Blizzard of ’96 and various man-made disasters – we’ve mobilized again to help ensure our residents receive help when needed.

Like you, we’re juggling families, work (or unemployment), school and other responsibilities, yet we’re committed to serving our community. During these trying times, we want to reassure you we are here, answering 911 calls, adhering to rapidly changing state and CDC protocols to provide the best, safest care possible.

How can you help us?

N95 or Surgical Mask Donations are accepted and if you can please email us at and we can arrange for drop off or pick up of these masks.

Please use 911 resources – EMS, fire, police — wisely. If it’s not a life-threatening emergency, call your doctor first. If you do need us and think you might have been exposed to the coronavirus, please inform the dispatcher when you call so we can prepare to help you properly.

Monetary Donations are welcome however we understand that in this time of hardship you may not be able to do so. If possible please consider a donation when our fundrive goes out in August of this year. Online donations are always accepted on our website.

We always welcome new volunteers. However due to the already overwhelmed police system for background checks and our medical partners for physicals; we unfortunately will have to temporarily suspend new applications at this time. However please visit and click on submit an interest form.  As soon as we are able to accept new applications we will let you know.

Please be safe. Wash your hands. Stay home. Practice social distancing.
